I'm in Kauai on a little bit of business and a whole bunch of pleasure. Driving down the road I spotted a yellow 99 at an Exotic Car and Harley rental shop.

Here are a few pics...

Looks like someone hit a parking bumper.

An interesting way of keeping a front plate on the car. I guess the bracket and two screws were just too confusing.

I spoke with a friend of mine yesterday that recently moved to Kauai and she was telling me that she thinks of us everytime she sees it on the road.

Looks like it has had a hard life.

Al I bet that is the same one I stopped and looked at a couple of years ago. It's right across the street from a Harley Shop called Spider's, the nose was banged up back then and looked like it had been well used, it was kind of cool to see it back then as I hadn't had mine that long so the excitement of seeing another one was really big.

There is a yellow 2000 with painted bumpers on the big island near Kona, belonging to Phil and Rita Olson from Mesa, Az. If you see them, say hello,,,,,,great people.
