No.3 daughter getting married in Feb 03 in or around Santa Rosa Ca., Need a venue that will allow us to hire our own catering, or has a price in the range that I can afford, we booked a golf country club for $1500.00 for the day which was fine but they want $130.00 per person for food and wine, coffee and soft drinks and cant bring in our own service.
I know there are a few prowler owners in that part of the country maybe you know some one or some where.

thanks for looking

You may want to try public facilities or check with various cities.

My wife's sister held the her reception at a public facility that was on the historical registry. It was a antique building with a fantastic huge rose garden. It cost them almost nothing and they could bring their own stuff (or cater)

Maybe the grounds of a bed and breakfast would also do depending on how many guests you are planning on.

If none of those work, you could keep it at the golf course, just invite only 2 people

Here in Indiana, girlfriend and I just catered a wedding of 300. Appitizers and meal we charged $12.00 per person. Just to let you know how much profit they seem to want you to give them. Oh, yes, we were profitable also.
