... and it's great. Except ... What to I use to change the purple logo on it to some other color? Say dark blue. I don't have any problem with purple for a Prowler, it's just not mine. Any suggestions would be apprecaited.

Whealy, you may want to try an opaque paint pen. You can buy them at arts & craft stores like Michael's. I used one for the embossed cat on my under hood insulation and it came out great! Hope this helps. Kendra

Thanks Rich! I'm without my kat - she's been in the kat house (customizer) for some time now & will be until the 1st of October so picture taking is not easy for me now. Mine looks exactly like that except for being painted silver.

Hey ProwlerBabe,

I finally got around to trying you’re suggestion. Not that it’s overly important, as I doubt many worry about the cover logo color , but I did want to share anyway.

I got the markers you suggested. Turns out against the purple thread the blue just made it more purple. Black came close to the blue I’m looking for. But that’s because the Midnight Blue is so dark. My assumption is that against a black background that I think you started with, it would probably work.

I did try my touch up paint. I’ve just worked on the case logo so far. And not to mention I never was a good paint by numbers guy as in I had a heck of a time staying in the lines. I’ll see how it works out.

I did want to say thanks for the idea though.

Aren't we expecting some picture from you ...

Sorry whealy, I thought for sure it would work.
Hope to have pictures soon! The paint work isn't progressing as quickly as I would like. (As a matter of fact - he hasn't even started & I'm supposed to pick her up Friday)
Thanks for the update on your cover, I hope the touch up paint does the job. Kendra

Fixumm - that would be 2 men with greased palms, don't think I could handle that.
