Greetings Fellow Prowler Enthusiasts!!!

My name is Dan Frankian (¹99 purple Prowler owner from Halton Hills, just
west of Toronto) and I am writing with terrific news:

As of July 19, 2002 we are an officially sanctioned club; the
PROWLER CLUB OF CANADA

I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you at car rallies, antique car
auctions, meets, through word of mouth, with the help of our favorite
Prowler dealers or by simply driving by. Our list of fellow prowler owners
has now been updated with the list of all the owners from Chrysler Canada.
I wish to thank Chrysler Canada, as they have been extremely supportive of
our venture and instrumental in getting me connected.

Our first official event will take place:
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20th, 2002 at 11am
Please mark your calendars and commit to attend.

We are going, be it 5 cars or 50 (hopefully 50, as we¹d like to have press coverage for this event!) We will meet at the HARROP HOUSE in Milton at 11am for brunch, an opportunity to get to know one another, visit the
Gallery upstairs and then at approximately 1pm it¹s ³Ladies and Gentlemen ­start your engines² for a drive through the countryside to make our way down to the scenic Niagara area (hopefully with our tops down ­ rolling along as
a giant ³PRIDE OF PROWLERS!²) Free time in Niagara or Niagara-on-the-Lake for exploring, casinoing, driving along the Parkway and then return to Niagara-on-the-Lake by 5pm for dinner at a Winery (we are talking to two right now and need to firm up numbers).

CJ...Can you send me what you hand out to other Prowler you meet out there...I can hand them out if I go to this ..
maybe a good place to find new POA members up here in the north...PDF or any word format or Word Perfect...

Colour would be good , I have a colour laser to make copies

What is wrong with 2 or 3 or 4 Prowler clubs? How many Vette or Viper clubs are there? Doesn't mean you have to join them all but, the variety is beneficial, IMO.

More clubs equals more competition which translates into better prices for us all on parts and accessories.

Wouldn't the world be a boring place if there was only one of everything? (O.K., there is only 1 CJ but, you get my drift)

I would prefer no new club, no bureaucracy, no president but rather spend our efforts in growing the POA and event planning and sharing our ideas. Perhaps we could just be the POA - Ontario region.

That said, I know a couple different groups were planning a similar event through wine country (Toronto guys, London guys) and we were going to try and coordinate a bigger event as a precursor to a large POA Niagara event next year or the following year. Perhaps we can all coordinate together.

I would love to have some events up here..Think that would be a great idea Wayne, Have our American Friends up to Southern Ontario Wine Country and Niagra Falls along with the groups you mentioned up here

I live down here in Wine Country...Sandra and I did a Saturday cruise to "Niagra -on- the- Lake" last week in the Kat and loved it for sure..

The US dollar goes a long way up here to the Canadian Peso..LOL

I thought that some of you up there had talked about that earlier this year. Would make a great event for June (even just for a weekend or a long weekend), so as not to conflict with the Gatlinburg event in August. With the Gatlinburg event the weekend after Dream Cruise, I doubt there will be anything planned for that, so if you leave enough time between the two, could be well attended.

Oh, yeah, I forgot, Toronto is another great place.

Guess I will come up Guelph Line to the 401 and exit at Mississauga Road if that will work..

Sandra wants to do some shopping at Square One..Is that off the 401

As for Wayne's comments I feel the same what is the need to have a seperate club, as for us Canuck Kat owners who have had the privilege of going to various meets and meeting lots of other owners whether they be American Kat's or Canuck Kat's this group always has something on the go and each person who goes to the trouble and I can only guess how much trouble setting up one of these get togethers takes does it because they want to share this great experience of owning a Prowler with as many owners as can make it to them. They are not going out and starting a new club so people can come to their events and cruises, all they do is post there's a meet or cruise or run whatever they call it and these are the dates who wants to come plain and simple as that, and for my sake only could you please explain your comment" I'm sure everyone in the whole wide world be welcomed to this event. Not just the elite". who are these elite people in your comment are they Canucks, Americans, English, Chinese, Jewish, German just curious
