Alley Cat,
I'm thinking about doing something to my cat but from what I'm seeing, I thought I'd best run this by you first so my cat will stay an "approved cat". I'm looking at having a top cover sewn inside the trunk so when the top goes in, the cover will come over and completely cover the top to protect it. I think this might be a first, what do you think?

Sounds like a good idea. Will you sew it below the top so that it comes up from the back toward the seats, or sew it near the top so that it pulls down? What type of material?
