I was wondering if anyone has painted a trailer and what their experience was with it, one dealer told me that they thought that the colour was in the fiberglass and it is better to order one in the colour you want than try to repaint. |

I just had the dealer repaint my trailer since the color of the fiberglas varied between the the individual parts (fenders, body and lid) The edges around the wheel wells and the lid were also just raw fiberglas and not smooth. It looks much better painted. |

The color is not in the fiberglass gel-coat. All of the trailers are painted during the manufacturing process. Paint your trailer being sure to get a good bond with quality paint and your should have no problem at all. |

xz, welcome to the POA. All of the trailers are grey on the inside. |

XZ welcome to the POA. While it may not necessarily be better to order one painted it will probably be cheaper in the long run. |
