On Thursday, I drove down to Ohio to participate in the Harvest Home Fair Parade. Ed invited eight cats to be in the parade with him. Bob was supposed to go also, and bring the white "Iscream" Prowler, but a last-minute work issue canceled his plans.  So, I ventured down on my own. Ed tells me that it was the 143rd running of this parade!! It was awesome and I had a great time!Ed.........thanks for inviting me to participate...sorry Bob couldn't make it. Thanks for dinner, too! I had a great time and it was great seeing you again! Sandy......as always it was great seeing you. Have you stopped laughing yet? I start again every time I think about that dog and those flowers!! LOL! Andy & Shelley...........it was good to see you again and little Matt.........thanks for letting me use your car wash bay to clean up my cat!! For the hospitality, also! Ken...........thanks for storing my car cover for me during the parade so I could give Jim a ride and thanks for the hotel suggestion and escorting me there to make sure I found it! It worked out great and I missed the rush hour traffic. Lou..........thanks for the invite to stay at your home. I would have liked to have seen Joanie again. Maybe next time!! Call us when you get to Detroit again! Lee & Sue........it was great seeing you both again. It was fun!! Jeff & Kathy........it was nice meeting you both. I hope your granddaughter is okay. Sorry you had to miss dinner! Carey.......nice meeting you and thanks for sharing the front line with me!! Jim...........I hope you had a great anniversary and that your wife has recovered from the shock......you are a special guy!! I posted some pictures from the event........take a look! |
