Looks good - How'd you do it. Mask or remove. I'm still considering the same. ------------------ |

you will find that removing this bezel is so easy it would far exceed the difficulty of masking it and painting it in the car. Not to mention the mess. I watched Jay Harris take my out in seconds. |

quote: The picture really helps, it looks like you did a great job. We were thinking of doing ours before, but now that we saw the picture of yours, it is probably the next item on the agenda for us. By the way did you do anything in the way of either roughing up the surface or use a primer first? Just wondering how the paint adhered to the surface. . . |

Fixum painted mine and it looks great. I will post pictures tomorrow. It was fun getting the DC power receptacle out of the bezel. ------------------ |

quote: Wal Mart has a good selection of car paint but if you want to get the perfect match of your kat call the Chrysler dealership and get the color code that matches your kat. If you have a NAPA auto parts store they will mix your paint in a 12 oz aerosol spray can. The price is around 12 bucks. So John thanks again, the bezel is going to be orange this weekend. ------------------ "I am nobody and nobody is perfect, therefore I am Perfect!" |

pumpkin when you pull off the bezel start with 320 sand paper to smooth plastic then work your way up to 600 use same brand primer as paint sand between coats with 600 let final coat set for 24hr before you put back together and in car in a week you can hand buff and wa,la smooth as a babys butt big john ------------------ |
