I took Mike to the doctor today to get his cast off and pulled a magazine out of the rack. It was Automobile Magazine, March 1997. I thought to myself, hey, I bet they have something about the Prowler in here.

Low and behold, no articles but there were three ads. One for a Fairfield Mint 1:18 Prowler and another is a two pager Plymouth ad showing their line of cars like they are 1:18 diecasts in a box (Six Fun Flavors) the other is a two page Chrysler ad giving a pictorial outline of the production of the Prowler (A Car Is Born).

I asked the receptionist if I could either buy or have the magazine and she said "Please take it, do us a favor!"

We were out of there before they could change their minds

I am stoked

I thought that is what my $10 co-pay was for... new magazines.

I think this guy graduated from medical school somewhere around 1945. He was good though - just looked at the x-ray (and with a sad look on his face) said "it's healed."

He sounded so disappointed. But not as dissapointed as when he put the cast on... when he looked at that x-ray he said (with a very sad face) "well, he doesn't need surgery."

Now if the check doesn't bounce, they won't come out and break my arms!
