Just installed the Mopar exhaust. I love the sound. Nice, deeper, throatier, tone. A little louder and kind of drones at higher speeds (80mph) but still love it. My arm rest vibrates now too.

Now I have a question I know someone else posted this but how long and is it normal to get flakes of fiberglass like particles all over the back of your car? It was killing me trying to figure out where it was coming from. It especially sucks since I've just detailed my car. Do I need to worry about it scratching the clear coat?

It takes several months. Just be careful dusting it off. The Borla exhaust on my black cat spewed more particles than the one I just put on the Candy Red. Maybe it just isn't as noticeable on the red than it was on the black. I was very careful about dusting. Even blew it off with an air compressor a few times in the beginning when it seemed really bad. It will stop, though.

Ack! Several months. Oh well, looks like I'll have to get a good method of removing the stuff for awhile.

Not to worry, the dust will go away soon and its worth it to have the Borla. It will end faster if you run it full bore regularly. Ours lasted only about a week and a half.

My Mopar exhaust has been on for six weeks and close to 600 miles, still burping the flakes..............

Now you know one of the reasons that the SSS Prowler muffler uses an "exclusive" woven, ceramic blanket for the acoustical, sound absorbing material.

Best wishes, Jay

I use a California Duster. Even after 500 miles I still get tiny particles all over the deck lid. I dust her off after every drive.

Fix - Since I'm hairy, I try not to use the term hairball. Ed might pick up on that and use is against me!
