I was able to talk to John yesterday for a few minutes and he is doing much better. He was out of bed, on alot less pain meds but still barely able to talk. He tires quickly but asked me to thank everyone for their prayers, concern, calls, cards and flowers. He thinks he will be able to go home sometime next week and start his recovery. He asked me to post that he is looking for a Silver 2000 Dodge Ram (I believe he said Kingcab) 4x4, short or long bed pickup. He also asked for information on both desiel and big block gas engines...pros and cons. He said he wanted to buy the truck and a fifth wheel and start making as many events as he can after he recovers. John, Glad to hear you are doing somewhat better. We are praying for you. If I hear anything regarding this truck will let you know, however, I am sure Gary C can give you lots of info. Looking forward to seeing you whole and heathly again. Will probably be up north for the Redwood Cruise in October. Hope to see you then. George and Char |

John, glad you're on way back to recovery... On the truck. Will you have enclosed or open trailer... If you get an enclosed, the only real option is the Diesel & 3/4 ton with towing package is perfect. I've had gas & Diesel and the Diesel wins hand down. Fuel mileage (in my case) 2x+ better with deisel vs gas both towing & just truck. I was OK pulling the open trailer with gas engine. We can talk once you get back home... ------------------ |

Thanks for posting this Marc, and your comments.. I am once again going a diffrent route I think tho. Man dont I keep wierd hours.,,, Fact is , the meds wont let me sleep all the way,, working on that now. Thanks again all John ------------------
