I am planning a trip in next few weeks in my Kat. I need a car cover. Who has purchased a car cover and would you rate it for me. Any suggestion what I should be buying. Most of the covers I have purchased in the past will tale up the entire trunk of my kat. I am looking for a cover for Hotel parking. Any suggestions..... Jim R. |

I purchased a custom car cover from Big Sky Car Cover (800-221-4875) about 2 years ago. I chose the Sunbrella cover because of the hot AZ sun. I use it to what equates to probably 1/2 the year out in the elements and have washed it several times as well....it has held up extremely well, still repels water and fits the car like a glove. I never have a problem with it blowing off the car during our high winds. It does take up some room in the trunk but still fits in there, no problem, even with the top folded down. I have taken it on several long trips with me - comes in handy at hotel parking lots. (Of course, some of the other prowler owners look at me like I'm crazy but then again, I am.) Anyway, I've been quite pleased with it. Hope this helps. http://www.bigskycarcovers.com/ |

The Mopar car cover is great. Also available is it's own carry-bag. I would imagine that most car covers are going to take up a fair amount of space! |
