UH OH - Another Canuck on the line Watch out PK you have some competition now Welcome to the Blue family Vet4Snak!!! Regarding your rattle, could it have been that the top wasn't fastened down in the back? Need more info!! ------------------ |

i dont think it was the top, but i felt the rattle more on the wheel inside(interior, you know...where you use it to steer)...and i also tried a second hand prowler which has less rattle. Could be because the new car have sat in the dealer for a while and all the oil and stuff?? btw, bare with me, my english suck! PS! what are the break-in procedures?? PROLWIN'!! I asked the same question of a DC engineer at Louisville. his answer was basically "drive 'em" . He said that for the most part, varying your speed etc. was a thing of the past. I believe that the owners manual has some guidelines for break in. I drove mine carefully, no hard stops, hard acceleration for the first 750 miles or so. I then began to drive it a little harder and now I drive it normal - a little quicker than normal. I think you will be fine with driving normally right from the start. I love the sign on a hot rod I saw in Marysville last weekend: "Drive it like you Stole it" John |

The manual gives a good break-in procedure if I remember correctly. It is good to vary your speed for around the first 3000 miles (okay - you convert that to kilometers ) You may want to have it checked out throughly complaining about the rattle before you take delivery of it - just to make sure everything is okay. Is Richmond close to Vancouver? I'll be in Vancouver from the 7th-11th for some meetings. If you want to get together, I could try to help diagnose your rattling problem. I had this squeak for the longest time until I figured out that my wheel was tilted all the way up and the wire running to the tachometer was rubbing against the dash. I found these rattle issues by searching... http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001462.html http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000933.html http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001432.html http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005278.html There are more, but you'll be able to find them...if you just search for rattle...
