I have been trying to come up with some catchy ideas for my vanity plate. I would appreciate any ideas you have, likes & dislikes. Florida allows 7 letters with 1 hyphen. Here are some I've thought of. Please tell me what you think. KAT CIAO *insert subliminal message here* Want to win a POA T Shirt NYN LYVS *insert subliminal message here* Want to win a POA T Shirt MEOW MIX *insert subliminal message here* Want to win a POA T Shirt BLAQ KAT *insert subliminal message here* Want to win a POA T Shirt KATNIP *insert subliminal message here* Want to win a POA T Shirt TOPLESS (maybe too risque for the blue hairs with wrap around sunglasses that drive to Georgia with their blinkers on - right ED? ------------------ |

They're all appropriate. I think I like NYN LYVS best, but I wonder if that might be too hard for the average individual to figure out. How about if you changed it to 9 LYVS or even 9 LIVES. I think BLAK KAT would be easier to understand than BLAQ KAT as well. And how about SHELINE, SLINKY, SLEEKAT, PANTHER, I PURR or PURRTY to toss into the list. I should have posted these each individually to help you with your shirt...I have to keep rereading your post for that subliminal message to work. ------------------ |

Count me in for the "TOPLESS" Boy, now that would be a eye catcher. If that is taken you can always use 'TOPLE55'. I think they will get the point. ------------------ |

Babe, That's certainly a problem...the easier to identify versions are already used. We're waiting to hear if we got our first choice on our orange Kat. NJ has 7 digits, too and we picked KATATAK--we'll see what happens. If you liked PURRTY, maybe you can do a spin off of that just in cast that's gone, too. Maybe PURRTME. Do you have a way of finding out if a name is taken before you send in the application or do you have to wait and see as well? ------------------ |

Prowler babe, You can simply call them on the phone. That's what I did. I recently moved here (florida) and had a heck of a time getting a plate. All the choices I wanted were taken. I finally ended up with IB PRWLN. But like I said I did it over the phone. Give it a try. They were more than happy to help and even gave a few suggestions. Good luck ------------------ |

I think all the "Kat" plates are cool, but you could try to be a bit more tricky. FL has all the Navy bases for flight training. What about "EA-6B". It's not a KAT but it will make people think twice. (For those of the non-Navy type. The EA-6B is the electronic warfare version of the Grumman A-6 Intruder (remember "The flight of the Intruder") and it nick name is the Prowler.) ------------------ |

Darcy, Congrats on getting your plate of choice on your first try. Prowlerbabe...here's a site with names of famous Cats, perhaps you can find something really unusual here. I was trying to think of the name of the black cat in Bell, Book & Candle and it just won't come to me. ------------------ |

PB, sorry it took me so long to respond. You should have gotten BLU Hair or Blu Hare and then no one would honk at you to turn off the blinker. lol. I had AM GRFTI and no one got it. I have RQUTE 66 now and with a little touch up the Q looks just like 0. I may go for LIC PLT next. |

PB, don't need to trash it on purpose, mine blew itself up without any help from me. It fried, literally. I could smell electric and plastic melting together. I knew that wasn't a real good sign. |
