I just visited a dealer in Cincinnati who got me a second trailer. It looks good - but not perfect. The Glass work is not perfect and the paint is not as nice as the car. Most would never notice but for $4700 I was expecting more. I remember talking to the folks in Louisville who had one and most told me that the quality of the trailer is not up to the quality of the car. Very neat, very functional but things like the latch etc. needed to be worked. Is this normal for all of them ?

Thanks,

John

I think so, John. My latch broke at Louisville, as you know. There are areas around the bottom of the trailer where the primer is showing through. The paint is not as good as the car. But, going down the road at 70 miles an hour, who will notice?

sounds normal to me. Useful, YES, Cool Looking, YES, Pricey, YES but worth it

Glass is harder to have a smooth as metal. paint should be close to same in finish. The metallic colors might show a difference over the car, but my yellow looked just as good

I would recommend larry Lord reinforcement latch bracket, Bra and mud flaps. Check the nuts on the latch and ring on lock.

You can get something to haul your stuff in for a lot less money. I debated this for a few months before ordering my trailer. I'm glad I ordered it instead of something else.

I really thought about a tear drop trailer. They make them for motorcycles and would be cool behind the prowler but not as much as the prowler trailer.
