Binh, glad to make your acquaintance, if only for a microsecond. That was me that passed you at the corner of Slater & Beach as you were leaving Chip Foose's. Too bad we didn't get a chance to meet formally. My wife and I had to attend a graduation ceremony and completely missed the tour... but we did manage to hook up with the gang as they were leaving Chip Foose's. Larry, I apologize for mysteriously breaking out of the caravan. When you said you were headed for Carlini's, I thought you meant the shop in Costra Mesa. When you missed the Bristol turn-off and started heading north on the 55, I thought you were going for some round-about cruise first. Since we just came from that stretch of freeway -- and spent a 1/2-hour in that traffic -- we said "no thanks" and started heading for the Costa Mesa Carlini shop. That's when we realized that when you said "new building", you were referring to the Santa Ana shop. Oh well, next time I'll be on time and get the game plan straight! Tarzan ------------------ |
