Another outstanding Day... We made it to the top of Mt. Evans 14,200 feet (highest paved road in North America). You could walk to the top of the rocks for another 58 feet (I passed). Almost needed a change of underwear by the time I got to the top... Strangely, going up the road didn't seem wide enough for two cars (much less all the bicyclists) and on the way down it was much easier for me and the road seemed much wider... I think we had five Prowler trailer owners drive their trailers up to the top... Another great day. We ended up in Golden with some super looking cars, toured Coors and had nice lunch and spent some time getting to know some of the new Prowler owners we met on this trip... We've had a large number of first timers on this Prowler cruise... Terrific.... Karen & me almost three miles higher than New Orleans... Prowlers on road almost to top... ------------------ |
