Everyone here is so helpful and thanks for the opinions on shipping this new Prowler to it's new home. Here's another question: Did anyone get a videotape with their Prowler? I know DC provides videos for 300M's and LHS models but I don't have one with this new Prowler and am trying to determine how to show it's new owner everything she needs to know. I could make my own videotape perhaps....wondered if there was one out there floating around. |

Hey, a video would have been nice. When we bought ours at a dealership, the salesman did not even know how to get the top down or turn off the airbag. We had to learn it all by ourselves, from the book, and of course here on the site. Thanks for taking care of this future owner. |

JK, I don't think such a thing exists. I have never heard of it and I have been known to read most of the ramblings on this board. Come to think of it a lot of the rambling on this board is coming from me. Tell them to do a search on this site and ask a few questions. There is a list of suggestions such as get front mud flaps immediately, if not sooner. Switch to Raybestos ceramic front brake pads (front ONLY). Don't release the seat back while leaning into the car. Stop two feet shorter than the nose of the car since you are already too close to the curb and are going to scrape it. Take off the front bumpers or get them painted. Drive the darn thing, that is why you bought it. Have fun, check in on this site daily, post often and plan on making it to an event. Your life just began to get way better. |

Well, I'm in the process of making my own amateur video for our new Prowler owner. I'm especially worried about her learning to maneuver the top and trunk without ever damaging the car. DC should have made a video, the Prowler could be complicated for a brand new owner.....afterall, they made a video for the 300M's!! Thanks and if one happens to pop up, let me know! |

Ed's advice is a good summary of what to do. Just Drive it, and you'll find it is easy to handle the details. If you still have questions, just ask. |
