Just curious. Same engine, so why different octane ratings recommended for 300M and Prowler? My 300 runs great on 87 Octane and am running 92 in the Prowler. |

Mack, Same engine but different throttle body, cam and gearing. This is why the exceleration does not feel the same between the 300-M and the Prowler. ------------------ |

Also, the computer in your 300M is programmed to run on 87 while the computer in the Kat is set up for 91. If you were to run 91 or higher in your 300M, you would probably notice a slight decrease in power and fuel mileage. ------------------ |
