If your referring to the tag that is riveted to the side of the fire wall, CJ is correct. There is an alpha-numeric code for the body color and serial number of the "tub." The one for my car is "PP 000666." Stands for Prowler Purple and the 666th tub produced.

I can't see if there is anything actually engraved into the paint, in the picture that you posted.
