Larry......at 299.00 per day you are definitely not in the same category as a Chevy or Ford That's $8,970.00 per month (30 days) or $109,135.00 per year ! Maybe I'll rent mine

The main reason I got my Prowler was due to me renting one 3 years ago! It was during my annual trip to Cali. It was a Black 99'. I rented it for a day that year....talked them down to $299. a day from $399... The next summer I rented it for 3 days at $199. a day Last summer I rented it for a whole week for $1k.... That was the clincher and I bought a new one.... This year I feel it would be such a waste to rent one being I now own one.... I guess I'll have to find something else cool to rent! Porsche, Viper, BMW??????? Nothing is as cool as the Kat. ------------------ This message has been edited by C5 Frank on 05-08-2002 at 02:40 PM |

Ken G. I didn't mean to imply Kats are on the same level as far as perception and value is concerned. I just felt that a commodity I had heretofore held as special was being reduced to such a common entity: It just happened to put me in a state of shock to see one of those beautiful little treasures sitting on a rental lot. Like taking the star from "Lady Marmalade" and making her a cheap street tramp. |
