Due to some major car purchases in the last few days I am selling some of the older ones ( only a few months old ) Anyway do you guys think $42,500.00 is a fare price for my candy red with 2000 miles. It has the better brake pads, mud flaps and shimmer on the rear. Gonna put an add in the paper locally here in Miami to see what happens. ------------------ |

If I can't get the money...I'll sell it to my brother for $32K...He's had some hard times in the market....wants the car and he can't afford any more....Only hope is that someone wants this color....I know, here in Miami, the prices on used 2002's at the auctions are going for 34K. Not to bad of a loss...I loose $25k a year with the Ferrari. ------------------ |

I think it's a reasonable price... You should be forwarned, though... dealears tend to have these cars on average 6 months to a year before they are sold. Mine was on the lot for several months. I'd bet that you can get someone to pay that price... but you may have to wait. Exposure/advertizing is very key. I suggest advertizing at http://www.autotrader.com . You can place an add there and leave it 'til it sells for just one fee - more bang for the buck than the local paper plus a larger exposure area. I recently used that site to sell my Mustang, and it worked very well. ------------------ |

I had good luck placing an ad for a rare Mercedes E320 Cabrio that went for market rate after advertsing on cars.com. jd ------------------ |

Summer in Florida...Price sounds fair. From what I have seen the dealers in FL don't deal on Prowlers to much. If you just want to turn it fast I would think a couple thousand less should have it snapped up quickly. Good luck, ------------------ |

The best deal I could find in FL on a new Silver 02' was $2k off. The best deal I could find in FL on a new 01' Silver was $4k off. I went outta state and saved tons.... I think the prices here are higher then most states. I have seen used 00' and 01's asking $38 to $40k used! $42k would be a good asking price I would think. ------------------ |

Don't do it. But if you must, (FYI)I paid about $1K more than your asking price for a brand new '02. Of course you have the right color and locale for top dollar. Hey, for $32K I'll put on a skirt and pretend to be your sister. Keep it in the family, that way you can always get it back after you've come to your senses. Best of luck! ------------------ |
