Eric,
I too would like to hear someone's opinion on it. It's quite expensive, thereby, I want to see some results before I try it.

I am using Protectall, this like Zaino sounds like too much effort for a similar result. I can't wait too compare Protectall next to a Zaino shine. Hopefully at Louisville.p

This is just my opinion. Everyone can make up their own minds. I used Zaino on the cat last Fall after seeing MeanGene and Niteman's cars. It is a lot of work initially but it looks good. A few months ago everyone was talking about Protectall and I bought a bottle. I used it on the PT and it looks great. It is very easy to use but in my opinion it does not last at all. I used protectall on the PT again yesterday and it needed it alreay. I think that is way too quickly for a wax.
This is my opinion. Everyone is entitled to theirs. I do not think there is any comparison for durability between Zaino and Protectall. Protectall is much cheaper and easier to use and gives a great shine.

Ed, keep in mind what kind of weather does the PT go through compared to your Kat. I am not knocking Zaino or siding with Protectall. I just would like to hear a comparison of the lasting value of Zaino vs Protectall (and others) under similar conditions. My kat has only been in the rain 5 times in 3 years. I like many others (I suspect) never let the car get really dirty and am constantly using quick detailer on it. There is no way our daily driver gets this kind of attention. So any product I use on the Kat would last longer than it would on the daily driver. Like You this is JMO. I have the Zaino and may eventually use it.

Rich, no question the PT gets driven more and sits outside but the Protectall lasted less than two months. That is not impressive as to durability. It is fast, easy to use and looks good, however. It just does not last very long. I just did a search and saw that I used protectall on March 18th, so it was 6 weeks. Just my opinion.

Ed,

That is what I always wondered about ProtectAll... I saw the comparisons done with Zaino and the other leading products and that along with the POA members who used it convinced me on Zaino. I am using ProtectAll on my Weekender just as a test.

Not knocking ProtectAll, it does leave a nice shine.

MadMikey, I like protectall but I don't think it compares to Zaino in the durability dept.
