I am guessing the austion for the electric blue with trailer(assuming both will be done in one shot) will go for $172,000.00!!!!! Remember not only prowler enthusiasts want it but car collectors. What would you pay?? And if you got it WOULD YOU DRIVE IT??? bob ------------------ |

Being the very last one made and a one of a kind color with proceeds going for charity my guess for a high bid is around $250,000.00 or more! I hope it finds a nice home in the USA and is displayed somewhere for all to see. I would hate to see it go overseas to a foreign country. ------------------ PROWLEN.... John (-: |

Since I don't even come close to being able to afford to bid on it I won't guess at the price. However I think that it would be a shame if it just sat in someone's garage for them to look at it. I wouldn't drive it like I do mine (sun, rain, cloudy days) but I would hope it will see the road every now and then. Remember the people who designed and built it did mean for it to be driven. Between 150 & 200K. If I owned it it would be trailered or shipped to the National Prowler Events I attended and Car Shows where it would be driven as activities required. The exception being if the weather turned nasty it would stay in the trailer. I believe I would likely put at least 500 to 1000 miles a year on it. It is not good for a car to sit too much. I have a friend with a 65 Vette. He never drives it. It sat so long the when he finally did go to drive it the shifter was stuck and the tires were stuck to the floor. I asked him why he did not take precautions aginst things like this happening and his response was that he always intended on driving it more, but just never seems to get around to it. It is a real waste of a very nice car. ------------------ |

Can't begin to guess what the car and trailer will bring (yes, they are selling it together). I guess if money was no object for me, the sky would be the limit. After I was successful in purchasing it, I would loan it to the Museum to be put on permanent display for all to see. However, since that is only a dream, I hope whoever the new owner is gives it a good home and who knows.....maybe we can hope that they would donate it to the WP Museum? Unless, of course, a miracle happens and it ends up in the MK Museum!! This message has been edited by CJ on 04-24-2002 at 04:29 PM |

I would drive it myself, but then again I am probably just all talk since I cant afford it anyways(unless it goes for the estimated 40-60 but I wont even bother... So who will be the first to take a Kat that has been in an accident and paint and re-upholster it to look like this??? bob ------------------ |

I am thinking about getting it and painting it Red, the best color. I would have the only 2002 Red Chrysler Prowler. ------------------ |

well... there are some who have " money as no object"... but considering I have driven my 1914 Limited Twin on the freeway doing 60 (yes it's an American motorcycle and worth around 150-250K), I'd say I'd drive it. ------------------ |
