Jerry McDaniel, Litigation Records Services, Houston, Texas This guy has offered to generate custom prowler poster prints for me (at $6 per sq foot) and I want to know if he is legit. Anyone here ever use Jerry McDaniel to generate a poster? ------------------ |

Jerry is legit! He and his wife were at the Bluebonnett cruise you came down for. He was in the Mulholland. Jerry's a GREAT GUY and a real good friend. He has done me a poster and will be bringing it over soon. Don |

Thanks for the input. I'll let you know how satisfied I am with the work. I know the quality of the print is much dependent on the quality of the file. I blew the file up to near poster size, so that I have a good idea of the sharpness and quality that I can expect. If someone wants me to help out with any image processing in preparation for poster printing, here is an example of what I can do. (By the way any processing I do for anyone is for free - as long as I have the time. All I ask in return is a and a thank you...) This is a small version of my poster print: Here is a swatch blown up to show the type of sharpness and quality that you can expect on a 24" x 36" poster generated from the type of image that I started with. I generated my poster image from an original .jpg file that was 316kb in size (and 1280 x 960 pixels). This is the smallest size file that I would recommend for a 24" x 36" poster. ------------------ |

All you have to do is take a picture on a digital cam at 1600 X 1200 and they will look AWESOME!. I have a cheap Sony and it does fantastic, no photoshop enhancing just great posters. ------------------ |
