Let's start with last Thursday night, daughter hits a deer. Everyone (daughter and deer) is OK, the Xterra just bent a little. Friday afternoon I drove my Millennium Yellow Z06 over to Fort Worth to look at a Viper GTS and I get a ticket for the first time in 10 years! Just after exiting the freeway, 52 in a 35. Sunday I take the wife's new Jeep To Dallas and I get rear ended and knocked into the car in front of me. Again everyone is fine, just bent and sore. The wife is not happy, she understands but is not happy. So Monday afternoon I decide to take the Prowler out for a nice drive around town. The first thing I do is head over fill up. As I am pulling out of the side street next to the station, I look both directions and turn right, rolling right thru the stop sign at the corner! I look over and in the parking lot is on of the local cops. I see he is watching me and had just witnessed the rolling stop. I slow down and start to pull over. He looks at me, thumbs up to the car, and waves me on. In any other car I am busted. The rest of the day was spent cruising the back roads and smiling. Steve ------------------ |
