I had to take my 8 year old daughter to buy a new gold fish, and she asked if we could take the Prowler. It was sunny and 60 degrees here so I said of course we can. What started out as a short trip (3 miles to town) turned into a Woodward Avenue cruise. Today was the first time the Silver Ghost was on Woodward, there was more traffic than I would have liked, but hey I was cruising and bonding with my daughter, we were just having a great afternoon.
Kira and I were cruising and jamming to the tunes when all of the sudden a blue sports car pulled up along side me and gunned the engine and took off, I thought it sounded pretty sweet. Remember I had a 8 year old with me I had to be responsible I couldn't race him (I wanted to)and I only have 510 mile on my supercharged engine. I thought to myself I should at least return the favor. I caught up with the blue car, he and his sister (probably really his girl friend) were just like me having a great time cruising Woodward Avenue. I gunned my engine and took off, I thought to myself the Silver Ghost sounded pretty sweet with it's Borla exhaust and Paxton Supercharger. It had been a great time a good cruise and time to find a gold fish when all of the sudden the sport car caught up with me and the driver yelled to me is that supercharged? I smiled and said "yes," I know they were truly impressed. It didn't end yet at the next light the girl was holding her cell phone out the window asking me to get on it again (the accelerator) so the person she was talking to could in fact hear the Silver Ghost themselves. What a day on Woodward Avenue.
Yes Virginia, we have two gold fish and a great memory!! I can't wait for the next Woodward Avenue cruise.
