Don't be fooled into believing that there are 1300 active members on the POA. There's more to the number story. Just guessing but I would say that the breakdown is more like this. Oh and I almost forgot, Maybe we need to make people re-register or let the registrations lapse after one year to keep things current. If not, we'll end up just like the other site and it's 1100 members. Numbers are good only if they're accurate. This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 04-02-2002 at 09:57 PM |

There are roughly 600 names in the Owner's Registry - 600 is probably a more realistic count. ------------------ |

I won't argue with Larry's theory.......I'm sure it's pretty accurate. It is a shame that more of the people who register don't post, but then not everyone feels comfortable doing that. Please don't forget, however, that there are a lot of people who frequent this site who own Prowlers but do not register. I receive a lot of emails from these people for lots of different reasons. They email about brochure offers, etc., purchasing things from the stores, just to make comments about some of the topics, Friends Program, ask questions, etc. Again, these owners just don't want to post. There have been some that eventually register just to stop me from badgering them all the time about it!! lol!! I hope they feel like "members" just the same! We just need to keep encouraging more of them to get on the board and share info, humor, etc. We also need to encourage them to come to an event and meet everyone. So all of you out there ........REGISTER!! POST!!! Make us laugh!!! Share some stories, info, whatever!!!! Come to an event and have a blast with us!!! Please??? ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Just for the record I did not re-register just bcause I changed my name. This was right after I signed up and I got locked out of the Web Site. I could not figure how to get back in so I registered under a new name. This happened back Oct 2000. I orignally registered July 2000 and changed after 30 posts. Knowing what I do now I would have done things differently. But then I was novice on this forum. ------------------ This message has been edited by BeWare on 04-12-2002 at 11:26 AM |

quote: Oh, and as BeWare has clarified, and to erase my potential Moniker from your "mind" as one ... have never registered under an alias here like at the old PPC ... don't have to here, Mike runs a straight show and doesn't "ban people" from posting like Nowel did! I call em like I see um and leave the dust to settle under my one true name ... hope that doesn't disapoint ya Larry! |
