$1070.00 new fender assembly (canadian)
$160.50 (15%) sales tax
$2-300 paint for said fender assembly
$1500 aprox. total wife will beat out of worthless hide
$433.55 DCX body shop next store is fixing original fender assembly for!
Not having wife beat worthless hide so much!

Al. Thanks for the offer but the car is already in the shop. Should have it back in a few days. I really find it hard for DCX to justify the price of these parts. The body shop foreman says if you think thats bad the price on viper parts are worse! $1070 for a fender that probably cost DCX $70 is tad amount to extortion! My brother-in-law wanted me to buy the new fender and give him the old one to put over his bar.

I like your brother-in-laws idea

According to another cat owner in BC, DC doesn't work with warranty problems too well north of the border. I'm NOT saying this to be true, just pointing out another opinion given. I would diffently have tried to get a warranty claim in and seen what happened before fixing myself. It pays to rant and rave sometimes. Being an AH sometimes has its rewards.
