I just parked the Kat, and realized it has 9999 miiles. ....afraid of hitting the 10,000 mile mark. The 99 Red Kat has always been my weekend toy. I know the car is for driving, but does anyone else feel the anxiety of putting miles on the car? |

NO A well kept car will be more valuable if you got to enjoy it instead of worry about every mile. I have a `81 Imperial with 13,800 miles. Because it is such low miles I hate to drive it. But it needs it and I plan on it more this year than in the past, but I've been saying that for the last 5 years and it has been driven less than 200 miles since I started saying it. The `74 Caddy with 28,000 miles gets drove about 1,000 a year. I drive it where ever I want and whenever the roads do not have salt on them. Sue likes to drive it . But it is too big to park in most places now so I have to be careful where I drive it it keep from getting the front cut off in these small parking spaces. I need 2 lenght wise. Get the cat out today for an Easter Sunday drive and forget about the miles. Oh by the way, 17,000 miles on my `99 Cat ------------------ |

I wouldn't call it anxiety but I know the feelings. My is a '99 also and it has 6900+ miles. Well, I just bought in February 2002 and it only has 6400+ miles. I usually alternated with my Split Window Vette and it's not the same like driving the Prowler. I will intend to enjoy each and every miles I drive and I hope you will to, Joe. Happy Easter ------------------ |

Mine just hit 30,000 miles two days ago. It bothered me a little, but like previously mentioned, I bought the car to drive and to me the enjoyment of driving the car outweighs any apprehension about putting miles on it. Honestly, I have been more worried about myself turning 30 this year... I guess it's all down hill from here. ------------------ MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 |

JOE, No where in the Prowler Manual or Literature will you find the words (Garage Queen). The factory built them with an engine, USE IT, If you don't use it, Someone else will when you are longgggggggg gone. It is Sunny and 85' right now. The 99 Cat has been fed its Cat Fuel and we are ready to hit the pavement. When we return, we will have passed the 38,000 mile mark on the Original Tires. CRANK IT UP, LETS ROLL!!!!! Ted |

Thanks folks... You are all right. The prowler should never be a garage queen, and I know the feeling of just looking at the car vs driving the car. It is 85 and sunny here in Orlando, and time for an Easter cruise. Hey 30-30 Bill (30,000 mi, 30 yr old) let's cruise! No more garage queen mentality. The car was meant to drive! Just bought a 2002 Audi S4....a wild sports sedan...takes corners at 70mph, with steering wheel shifting!! 2002....enjoy the drive! |

at the end of things, all we ever have is our memory's, so drive it and hope your brain is good enough still to remember it all, as Bill said, once he hit 30, no more p***y for him! Now, I'm 39 and got the best ever. What are you doing wrong Bill? ------------------ |
