I noticed that the production numbers in the March issue of Mopar magazine is different then what is on this web site. Anyone know why?

For example:

Mopar
Purple 1530
Yellow 1576
Black 1911
Red 1573
Woodward 151
Silver 1342
and so on.

The mag numbers were as of Nov. 01'. I think it said that somewhere in the article.

True but for example purples haven't been built since '99.
Also same for woodwards, production has been over for awhile.

Add the Totals for Sale numbers together 1997 Purple = 396, 1999 Purple = 1134 Total of the two 1,530. Most Pilot cars are crushed. Ouch! it always hurts to say that.

Wild1.

The only difference in the POA facts & stats production numbers & the Feb 2002 CAAP visit is 6. The POA # is 11,697 & at the CAAP visit a chart was provided that said 11,703.

The difference is in the 1997 production #s. Up until the Feb. 2002 CAAP chart, 1997 Production has always been 457 Prowlers (published in Chrysler news releases & trade magazines several times over the last five years). Than in Feb. 2002 the 1997 Production # became 463. That's the six difference.

The discrapancy is being looked into. Once an official position is taken, we'll either update the POA chart or leave it alone...

Thanks Laddie, as I said I was just curious why the difference. What you say makes sense. Thanks!
