Does anyone know if DC is/has discontinuing the Prowler cover or not??? I have not looked into it yet, but I want to get one and did'nt know how urgent it is for me to go buy one. I saw one on Ebay where the seller was saying they were no more???? Is this true? Thanks for your responce.

Not as far as I know. My dealer said they'd have no problem getting one for me. They do however run a good $200+ I hope they're water repellent for that much.

I have one and yes they are water repellent. I would not wait too long to get one. If the one on ebay sells for less than $175 buy it.

I did a double take on that line. I thought it was posted by Big Foot, for sure. Cybersex or any other type is fine with him.

I differ on Wildcat's statement that the Prowler cover is water repellent. I'd qualify that comment by saying the cover is water resistant but not repellent. If you leave a small puddle on a Chrysler cover, eventually some of the moisture will soak through. Without this type of two-way permeability, water vapor trapped under the cover would not be able to escape. This is not to say that it does not bead water but water left on the cover for a length of time will bleed through given enough time.

I have to agree that the Chrysler cover is not waterproof.
However, California Car Cover Co. (same people who make the California Duster) have a variety and they are great.

I bought my cover from California Car Cover (http://www.calcarcover.com/) and am very happy with it. It hasn't been wet yet, but it fits beautifully and was reasonably priced. They have a variety of different materials to choose from too. Recommended.

Alex - did you order your cover yet. I just opened my "trailer bra" and guess what? Even after I told dealer that was wrong part and we looked up correct part #, he ordered gray Prowler car cover with purple logo. I believe it costs more than a Mopar trailer bra. I will send this you if you order a Mopar trailer bra to be shipped to me ASAP. I am going on trip end of next week, plus need bra so paint guy can see how flames will look with bra on.

If I don't hear from you by Wednesday afternoon Eastern time I may have to switch at dealer to get bra on time.

Got my Mopar cover from Tenafly Chrysler yesterday and I am very happy with it and the dealers service. Ordered it over the internet and a few days later here it is. I went with the Mopar cover because my Kat is always garaged and just had to have a Mopar cover with the little purple logo...Way COOOOOOOOOOOL as Reggie would say.

While I was at my dealer yesterday, the cover and the carrying case were listed in his 2002 parts catalog.
