The March 2002 issue of MOPAR Magazine has a three page article about the 2002 Prowler, its last call and its cruise into the sunset! I haven't read much of the article yet, but what I have appears to be complimentary. One of the paragraphs reads: To date, Prowler has cruised into the hearts and garages of passionate automotive enthusiasts throughout North America - and the discontinuation of regular production has only served to stoke the enthusiasm out there. On the day this story was written, we checked in at the Prowler enthusiast Web site www.prowleronline.com On the Home page was the Official Prowler Online Weekly Poll. "Since the announcement that the Prowler will be discontinued in February, does your Prowler feel even more special and unique to you now than it did before the announcement?" An affectionate 83 percent of respondents answered "Yes". The last paragraph reads: More than 11,000 Prowlers have been sold. The party may be over, but no one is turning out the lights.

Hello CJ. I read your Post about the Prowler article and was able to get a copy of the April issue of Mopar Collector Guide but was unable to Identify your other reference to the "Mopar Magazine". The magazine stores had no record of that particular magazine. Is there more to the description? Mopar Muscle or etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I gots to get a copy, don't you know!! Thanks and take care. Roy |

I was at my dealer today and asked him about the MOPAR Magazine. He had a copy lying on the counter. He said he didn't have any to sell, but pulled out the subscription card for me to send in!!! The BRC had a toll-free number for ordering a subscription. The cost for a subscription is $19.95 for one year (10 issues) and $37.00 for two years (20 issues). I don't know if this would include the latest issue, but you could ask them! Might even be able to order back issues? Number is: 1.886.GOMOPAR (1.886.466.6727) This message has been edited by CJ on 03-07-2002 at 06:57 PM |
