You will need to quit using yellow print in order for us to be able to read it. I think you asked what a Prowler with $4000 worth of damage is worth. You had better check on the price of parts before you decide it is $4000 worth of damage. Parts are extremely expensive and if this is the car that they posted pictures of last week, everyone decided that the car had a lot more damage than $4000. Why would they total it if it was only $4000????? I will try to find the pictures of the car and post it again. ------------------ |

Anyone remember this yellow cat that was wrecked. Pictures were posted within the past few weeks. It had a slightly dinged frame and damage above the right rear wheel and trunk lid. I can't find it. ------------------ |

Mike, No, I don't think that was the one. Maybe I saw the pictures of the car on eBay and not here. That could be the reason I cannot find it on POA!! This car is in Pittsburgh, PA and has not been repaired. I talked to wannaprow on the phone and he looked at it in person and had a body shop guy get some prices and thinks he can fix it cheaply enough to make it worth his while. He said it was on eBay so that is probably where I saw it. Thanks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1808162336&r=0&t=0 this is the car he is talking about. ------------------ This message has been edited by ed monahan on 03-11-2002 at 10:06 PM |

I'm not a body man, but I would say the damage is extensive and more than $4K. The basic tub has been ripped. This isn't a bolt on, but the whole basis of the body. ------------------ |

The wrecked yellow kat on ebay in Pennsylvania had at least $10,000.00 in damages. I stopped and looked at it. The pictures that the dealer had posted didn`t show all of the damage. Be very careful with that one..................Scott ------------------ |

I believe the one on Ebay also mentioned frame damage. I would steer clear of that one. ------------------ |
