tjtucker Prowler Newbie From:texas |

Hi all, it's me again. I'm still looking for my Prowler. Both the orange and blue cars sold last Saturday the orange car was my choice. I have now found a blue 2001 with 12 miles for 39,000 or a 2000 sliver Plymouth with 800 miles. Dealer demo for 33,995. The car has never been titled. What do you think? Which one would you buy? Thanks TJ |

Big price difference has to be a factor. Otherwise my personal choice would be blue. ------------------ |

Go for the blue but whatever you do, I STRONGLY advise not buying a dealer demo. ------------------ |

silver would be a great base for some custom paint and with the extra dough have the same in it as the blue. Will both have the same warranty? The real question is what car do you like the best...I like them all, some just more than others. I have yet to see an ugly prowler, Other than the color there is very little difference in the 2 cars. Buy the one you like the BEST ------------------ |

tjtucker don't compermise on color since to me this is one of the most important factors since most of the years are pretty much the same. There are plenty of Prowlers out there for sale. Pick your color and then find it otherwise after the excitment wears off you may regret the color you pick. The Prowler is unique and any color looks good but pick a color that you favor. |

Go for the Silver since it always looks clean. I have thought about all of the colors and I still would buy another silver. ------------------ |

If you are looking for a orange one, there are two in Michigan for under $40,000 one was out the door for that price. Another one was in Indiana for $39,999 go to www.autorv.com. I have been looking for the past two months for a good deal and ended up putting money down on blue one, still waiting for the weather to get nice out so I can bring it home. Dealer in Lansing, MI. was going to sell me a orange one out the door for $39500, it has 300 miles on it, get back with me if you need the phone number. ------------------ |

I think they still have Orange left at Waikem Motors in Ohio ask for Aaron or ED 330-478-0281.They also may have a Blue. Up to $4,500.00 below invoice. Bottom line dont get what you dont want! Take your time and get the color you like. I made the mistake and got somthing I thought was all right but it wasn't. Luckily I got out of it and didn't loose any more money. In the long run you will be happier/Good Luck... |

Just found out from a dealer, that after the Plymouth line was discontinuied, DC offered to buy back Plymouths from dealers, or give them cash back to keep them, prowler's cash back was $8500.00, this is what I was told. Knowing this should help you, because it allows more room for the price to drop. Plus with a new 2001 Plymouth you get full warranty, 7 years. ------------------ |
