Anyone remember the post regarding a front wheel coming off a Prowler? Think it was a Texas owner? Within the past year, I believe. Have heard of one more happening, and a friend of the owner is asking for the detailed info. Dealership service department is claiming TS to the owner. Help...... ------------------ |

Alley Cat My dealer told me that the 2002's have a slight modification to the front wheels. Don't know specifics. Hope that helps. Sassy |

Sasy - thanks, but this is in reference to a 1999 cat, which lost a wheel coming off at slow speed (lucky). This happened to somebody here at the POA about a year or so ago. Need the details on how DC handled the warranty claim. |

AC - I think I know what you are talking about but I think it was his bearing or a-arm that came apart (and seperating from the car), not the wheel falling off. I don't remember who it was though. ------------------ |

Koz - Thanks for stepping up. I forwarded the posted info to a local Prowler owner who asked for another Prowler owner in Calif. Hope they can get this situation resolved over there. The Calif. DC service department told this person no warranty claim,,,,,,, I just couldn't believe that story. That had to be a scarey happening. |

AC, It was VERY SCARY! I had my one and only "Angel" in the car with me. She's 8 and to think what could have happened if we had been going the speed limit.......It gives me chill bumps to even think about it still !!! Don |
