The New England Prowler Club had a charity raffle for a Blue Kat last fall. Unfortunately, it was after 9/11, and the $100 ticket price was to much for most to handle. They only sold around 500 tickets (+/-).

I fear that the only feasible way to raffle the car is to keep the tickets "affordable" for everyone, not just the richer people of the world - and to make it nationwide. That is the only way that whomever is conducting the raffle will ever sell enough tickets to make the $300K number that was mentioned above.

Whoever win's the raffle, I'm sure will be approached by a few collectors (Mike K. & ???).

This Prowler should be shared with all of us and the only way to do that is to put it in the Chrysler Museum on display.

I would however, like Ed, drive it on special occassions. It certainly would not be my daily driver as my 2000 Black is now. To me cars are made to be driven, not stuffed in a museum. If I was going to make a investment I would take the money and use it in a more traditional financial transaction.

We live in a couple of free counties here and have the luxury of free speach. Although I don't share your total views on the Blue Kat I personally wouldn't sell it if I won it. I think there are lots of people who would.I would think that most of this group of diehard Kat owners would probably keep it. JMO

I disagree. Here in America, you are not guaranteed a job for life. Just because they got laid off doesn't mean they should get anything extra (other than what was normally given to them).

If they got a job, would they have to then give the money back? Or if they are already employeed would they be excluded?

And what if they can't find a job or won't look? Should DC keep raffling off cars to support tha laggards?

I for one, can completely empathise with their plight as I used to be a geologist and got laid off more times than I can remember till I wised up and switched professions.

Perhaps getting laid off was the best thing that could have happened to them. It has worked wonders for me!!!

Excuse me! Only thing different is a slightly different color that 99.99999% of all living society would not be able to differentiate for any other vette out there?

I saw the pictures of the electric blue prowler and while it looks nice, it is still a stock prowler (albeit a slightly different paint color). 2 gallons of enamel and anyone with a prowler can have the same thing.

Most dealers, that sold them, don't even know what a black tie or woodward is so do you think they would pay a ton more for a blue one?

No, only the people in here understand what it is and what they all are probably would.

I'd buy a raffle ticket and if I won, sell it to the highest bidder to put my babies through college or just enjoy it daily.

It's just a car.
