Al- Thanks for doing the licking. Thought I'd never say that to a guy The etched cat decals are on, look really great, and fooled many people at the local car show! BTW - I put them on the outside of my tinted side windows. ------------------ |

Al, I'm having some flame work done. Can't wait to get the etched Kat decals on there as well. I started a series of mods in December which includes removal of the front bumpers, relocation of the stock turn signal/park lamps behind the grille, Prowler Pro gears, and some custom paint work. Counting the stock turn signals, the TGF signals and the side markers, which also flash, I'll have three flashing signals per side. I've mocked-up a circuit to make them flash like "T-Bird tail lights" but I still need to work out the integration with the wiring harness. ------------------ -2001 Mulholland |

I know how you feel - it will be like having a new car back when you have it again I would like to see how your turn signals work out. Did you get the new side panels too? I am still looking for some lights that will be bright enough to glow through the side panel but not see the bulb. Keep us updated and take pictures ------------------ |

Cliff, I'm still running the standard side panels. The original sidemarkers are still on them. For your side panels, have you thought about removing your original turn signal/park lamps from the now unused front bumpers, and placing them behind the opening in your side panels? If you do not want the bulb itself to show you could try painting the top half of the bulb, or putting a paint dot in the middle of the clear lens? You might also be able to "frost" the entire clear lens by a quick pass with an aluminum oxide blaster. Just an idea... ------------------ -2001 Mulholland |

I think the bulbs for the front turn signals are larger than the ones for the side markers. Also, they are a 2 filament where I think the side markers are a single filament. I hadn't thought about that. I will pull the bulbs and see. I do know the side marker lights all by themselves are not that bright... hmmmm - now you have me thinking ------------------ |

T-bird strobe...tell me how to do it or what I need...PLEASE. I know the originals used mechanical system to make the light work and was rather large. I have always wanted a car with this type light display...and after reading this last night I have been thinking ------------------ This message has been edited by WildCat on 02-05-2002 at 04:12 PM |

Larry, I have not worked out the complete parts list and wiring diagram yet for the sequential T-bird style turn signal, but I am working on it. I have a bench-top mock up of the logic circuit that works but I am only driving 5 volt LEDs right now. I need to add some relays to drive 12 volt lamps. When complete I'll let you know how it can be done. Working on it in my spare time, I am about two months way from being finished. ------------------ -2001 Mulholland |

Question fellas, Maybe I missed something but t-birds had three tail light bulbs in each light fixture that lit one at a time going outward to signal. We only have one. How is this going to work? ------------------ |

I went up and read your previous post (which I guess I should have done first) however the three lights seperated signaling like that I'm not sure if that is going to give you the same appearance. Maybe you can take our lights out and fit three bulbs in that case with some modifying. ------------------ |
