Hi I had to tell you this. I was just told that the RED KAT is upstairs at the autoshow lonely. It is off on it's own, forgotten by DC. And get this, very rare for the KAT, there are no ropes around the KAT and anyone can get inside of it. My person said that DC is very low keyed on the Prowler. MMMM... very disappointing. The car is already showing scratches. By the way. For all the new red KAT owners to be. START NOW AND ORDER A PINT OR MORE of touch up paint. If you are smart you will order the shop container and vacuum store it. I was told by an engineer it will definitely be the hardest to repaint sections in case of boo boos. What went wrong here, I've been around cars all my live (54 years) and this is the coolest looking production car ever built. I know there's a limited market out there for the Prowler but they should have sold alot more than they have.

I belive there was a major change in philosophy at D/C. And I'm not sure that we can blame it all on the German influence. ------------------ |

I for one am GLAD they didn't sell 100,000 Kats. Our cars wouldn't be as special then. Look what happened to the PT. ------------------ |

quote: You are absolutely right, the reason I didn't buy a Prowler before was because of the price gouging. Some will say that's the nature of the beast I say BS, I kept coming back but very few ever do. Let's see when GM comes out with the SSR how they do, I think in the same five years it took Chrysler to build about 13,000 Prowlers the SSR will double that number. I know of no other production car on the market today or in the future that I would want over my Prowler. |

At the LA auto show there was rope around the candyred Prowler. By the way speaking about price, the dealer that has it wants 10K over MSRP... They told they may settle for $7,500.00 over window sticker. They told me they already have 2 buyers willing to pay $7,500.00 over sticker. I am gald that I got mind in Ohio a couple K under window sticker! |
