I figure New Castle possibly has the highest number of Kats for any size town, especially one of 17,000 population...currently there are 3 black, 3 blue, 1 purple, 1 yello, 1 silver, 1 orange, 1 gold, and a Kandy on the way for a total of 12 Kats in town and still rarely see any but mine on the street...I drive the orange daily regardless of the weather so it is a common sight in town(8K miles since June)...can any one beat these numbers for their town of any size....there are also 9 Vipers in town... ------------------ |

I live in a town of about 20,000. The dealer has sold 4 kats and has a yellow for sale right now. The four were two gold, a yellow, and a red. The red went to Bishop, so that leaves 3 kats in town. I saw the yellow for a few minutes in traffic last summer. Other than that, I don't see any. My gold goes to work everyday and is used like a car should be. I think the others might be prima donna's tucked away in a garage only to see daylight once or twice a year. ------------------ |

Our town has 1,200 in it (cats, dogs, etc. counted) and mine IS THE ONLY to be sure. The sheriff and highway patrol come by my house all the time to get a look - or is that to make sure it is in the garage and not out on the highway In the neighboring town of about 12,000, there is a DCJ dealer and they have 2 on the floor, a yellow and a used mulholland. They sold one yellow to someone along the coast. As far as I know, mine is the only one in the whole valley (that is titled). My tech said that mine was the first one he had worked on after coming back from school, and is only 1 of 5 (not counting their dealership ones) that he services. The latest is a black one that ran over a coyote or something and they had to clean the underside and repair the transmission cooler. The others are Todd's. BTW - I asked the dealer if they were going to try and get a red and they said NO - they thought it would have been easier to sell the yellow, they didn't want to go for a red unless they had a buyer. ------------------ This message has been edited by CWatsonJr on 01-06-2002 at 01:44 AM |

Not sure of our population since we live in an unincorporated area of San Diego County(definitely more horses, cows and dogs than people.) But, we only know of our two here, 01 blue and 99 purple. ------------------ |
