CJ/Anyone
I know this is probably a strange post for anyone to answer but I talked to David Nazem down here in DFW and he suggested that CJ might be able to help with a possible answer. He told me that her husband was is upper management for the Chrysler Corporation and might be able to tell me what/where/how to go about getting finding the DFW district Rep for Chrysler. I have a 2001 PT cruiser, and it was hit in the front section in August. It has been worked on by the Mortiz body shop here close to my home. This past week while detailing it, i found several places in the front grill that were not even painted. The car has been in the shop 3 times for places that they have messed up/painted incorrectly and still have not fixed. I have spoke with the body shop manager, and he said that this last time in.”they would have it looking great...just like I bought it originally a year ago..” That is a big joke!
Whew.... now for the question.... who do/can I call/contact to get my car fixed right...do I give the body shop yet ANOTHER chance to fix it....
Sorry to bother the post with all this ...but I need help and am very frustrated with Chrysler’s dealerships. (We are having the same problem with my husbands new quad cab that he bought right before Christmas—it had factory defect in paint that was not seen until we got home when I detailed it—but it is a different dealership) I have another trip to the Moritz scheduled for (my 6th one on this car) and was just curious as what to tell them.
Any help will be greatly, greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kandace
P.S. for CJ-- I’m not sure if you remember me and my husband...we met you at the Texas Speed Week in March of last year...Kyle has the silver prowler and I had the silver cruiser! Thanks Again!

Of course I remember you Candace and Kyle!! You had the Prowler and PT there and David rode back to the resort with you when he let me drive his cat on the Hill Country Cruise!!

Yes, Bob is with DC and we will find out who you can talk to in the local Zone office. In the meantime, have you called the DaimlerChrysler Customer Center? Their number is 800.992.1997. Contact them to relate your problem also so that it is on record.

I will email you with some information tomorrow night!

CJ:
Thanks so much for ANY help you can give. We both love of our cars (including Ms. Kitty--though she is the favorite and most pampered). They are not only investments for each of us, but are also cars that are going to stay in the family for generations to come. The Kruizer is going to be my oldest daughters first car, and we want to make darn sure that it looks "new" when she gets it. Don't get us wrong, we drive them daily, but keep a strict maintence up-keep on all. (the go to the service shop every three months, just like my kids going to the doctor). So needless to say our "second babies" are just as important as the ones i gave birth to...now if i could just convince the dealerships how important they are!
