Well, It is almost time to thrown down some flames on the Mulholland. Who are the notable flame artists in the SoCal area? Any recommendations?
So far I can only think of "The Hotrod Shop" in El Cajon, and "Hot Rods and Custom Stuff" in Escondido.

Ghost flames, NOT. Gonna start with the nose of the Kat pure white and go from there.

A very good friend of mine in El Cajon, Mark Brink, Brink Designs, has done all my custom painting, no one else is even close. www.brinkdesigns.com Mention my name, it will cost you double. LOL

Even Pete Santini likes his work.

I use to be a painter for one of the best in the industry.

"Santini Paint & Body Werkes"
Pete Santini is the owner & Jeff Beck is the shop manager
7416 Westminster Blvd.
Westminster Calif.
Ph: (714) 891-8895.

Pete does all the custom paint himself. You can open just about any car magazine and find his work in it. He has been around for about 30 years. His reputation is unsurpassed. His work includes project vehicles for GM, Ford. During the 80's he did the paint work for most of Hot Rod magazines project vehicles.

I have sent several prowler customers to him with very pleasing results. It's hard to impress me when it comes to custom painting since I've personally been in this line of work for 25 years and I wouldn't recommend anyone if I didn't believe in there quality and customer service. He is not inexpensive, but, to have that Santini name on your paint job is something to be proud of. Just my 2 cents worth.

Either Santini or Lil Louie in San Bernardino would get my vote.

Louie has done the Prowlers of, George Carter, Jim Stallings, Cliff Watson, Jim Rogers (layout only) and afew others that I can't remember.
