I went to the dealer so often to check on the progress of my Cat that they let me run the computer myself. The worst part was knowing it had left the factory and was somewhere in transit. It took three excruitiating days for it to show up at the dealer. ------------------ |

I was lucky and didn't have that problem. I walked into a dealer and there it was. I knew that I had to have it. Four hours later, I DID!!!!!!! Voodoo |

I remember being told by the dealer that they would not accept my offer on the 97' Purple on the showroom floor, but would I accept the new 99' Red coming in the next week for the same price. Talk about rejection to jubilation in two minutes flat. |

My cat was projected to arrive at the dealer's place in early to mid Feb. 2000. On Christmas Eve day 1999, at 5:00pm, I got the call that it had arrived. They and I were shocked, as nobody was paying attention to the printout sheets on expecting deliveries. Christmas Eve day, talk about believing in Santa Claus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The dude is real man ------------------ |

I did not even know they were making Red cats. Saw one on the computer and found one at a price I could live with and picked it up in NW Indiana the next afternoon. Every employee in the dealership was in the showroom with us. I don't think they had ever seen a Prowler before that. That was April 4 or 5, 1999. It was out in the middle of farmland. It was an awesome ride home, I will tell you that. ------------------ |

I had bid on my car on ebay (two days after my son was notified of college scholarship) and didn't dream I had a chance of getting an 8 month old cat with 1800 miles as low as I bid. I was out of town with my daughter at a soccer tournament for the weekend when my son called. I couldn';t believe it when he told me the auction was up in two minutes and I was still the high bidder. Once I got the email I wanted to forget driving home and thought about going directly to pick up the car. The four day wait made it even more special when I finally set my eyes on it for the first time. WOW - it was mine and I had never even set in one or even seen the interior. Great feeling - thanks for helping me remember it again. Marty ------------------ |

I waited over 3 yrs from when I ordered mine. Like Ed really didn't know about the red, only purple, yellow, and black. I phoned at least once a mth after the second year, really thought it would never come then got a call on a tuesday said he had a confirmation on the Kat wouldn't tell me at the time what colour it was. Told me it was on the way in a enclosed transport truck should take a week to get there, all he was concerned about was did I have the money to buy it, he is one of the slimey dealers that gouged people whenever he could. Got a call on Monday morning it was in late sunday night, took me 1 hr to drive 1 1/2hr drive don't thk I really remember the drive just the rush of WOW IT'S HERE. I was so excited I forgot to ask the colour LOL. PK |

I didn't have to wait like some of you did as amatter of fact I really went to the dealer to buy a pt cruiser. Saw a KAT up close for the first time. Changed my mind instantly told the salesman I want that one and two and half hours later was driving off the lot. But the excitement was evry bit as titilating, I was only 4 miles from home. It took me 2 hrs to get there. I think I forgot where home was for awhile. |
