I saw a photo of a prowler a while back that had the rear fenders and bumpers removed. These parts were replaced by a custom belly pan and rear quarter panels. The end result was a really great looking open-wheel styling that is very reminiscent of the early Ford fenderless hotrods.
Anybody know who makes these parts?
Thanks.

The car that you saw was the Carlini Designs Leopard car. Check out the first picture in my personal scrapbook to take a look at it. That Prowler was a one off design done by Tony Carlini. The last I heard, the car was being bought by Dennis Rodman for Carmen Electra. Not sure if that ever happened though. Contact Gary Empfield at Carlini Designs for the full story.

Thanks Larry.
That is indeed the car I saw. I sure like the style... but of course it would look much better in the mulholland's midnight blue I dropped a line to Gary as you suggested to inquire about a kit for this purpose.

Well, I got the answer back from Carlini Designs regarding availability of parts to shave the rear fenders like on the leopard car. Unfortunately they do not plan to offer parts at this time. I'm bummed.
Maybe when I get this Camaro project wrapped up next year I can investigate fabricating these parts on my own.
