Replaced with a Lamborghini Diablo Roadster.

The Lamborghini Diablo Roadster was produced from 1995-1999.

The limited production Lamborghini Diablo VT-R Roadster being produced only in 1997.

In 1999 a limited edition Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster Momo Edition produced 12 copies.

On the 2000 Detroit Auto Show, the Diablo 6.0 was presented and the production for the VT Roadster for 2000 was canceled, together with the SV production.

Automobili Lamborghini SpA intends to have a brand new Roadster ready by 2003, of course this one will be based on the successor to the current Diablo, which was presented at the 2001 Geneva Auto Show.

Also, you state on your own web site the following:
Lamborghini Diablo. My dream car. Problem? Not price, but service. The Diablos require a lot of mechanical knowledge or a good tech that can do this for you. Did you know that a clutch for the Diablo is $12,000 in parts and labor and that to remove the clutch you must also remove the *engine*? Oh yes, and the other thing Lamborghini doesn't tell you -- the clutch needs replacing every 8000 miles! No way! I don't mind spending cash on a slick car but this much maintenance is a bit too much for me to swallow.

What changed to make it more affordable?
