I wanted to thank Ed Monahan for extending his invitation to the season-ending cruise at Hidden Valley to the Michigan Prowler owners. Mike and Karen Gatlin joined me in cruising down to Ohio for this event. The weather was great and we had an uneventful trip down. It was nice to see all of my old friends and it was great to meet some new ones! Andy was kind enough to let us use his car wash to clean up the cats and extended his home and hospitality to us. The cruise-in had a lot of great cars. Our catavan arrived a little late to the cruise, but we made quite a scene as we arrived en masse!!! Everybody was very complimentary with regard to our cats and there were lots of questions!

While traveling down I-75 to Cinci, there was quite a bit of construction. We passed an area where they were cutting the concrete (going North), which was the same situation that Rich Ware ran into with his cat on his way to Dream Cruise. We decided to find an alternate route back home. We took a really nice two-lane road back. Very scenic and the color changes were spectacular! Drove through many small and quaint towns. We had lunch in a little cafe in one of these towns and it was great! A stop at a gas station caused quite a scene and a police officer actually pulled into the gas station just to look at the cars. I thought I was in trouble for parking partly on their sidewalk area, but he was asking Mike about the cats! Whew!

Hit rain at Jackson, MI, which was the first we'd had. At that point, the Gatlins and I parted company as we headed to our homes! Thanks Mike and Karen for the company on the trip!

Next time all you Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky Prowlers will have to come up this way for a cruise (other than the Dream Cruise)! Thanks again for a great time!

I posted the few pictures that I took in the event scrapbook!
