HAS ANYONE HAD ANY LUCK REACHING BORLA, AND GETTING A RETURN. TONIGHT I LEFT MY SECOND MESSAGE FOR DON. AS I DIDN`T GET ANYTHING BACK THE FIRST TIME. I HAD THOUGHT BY NOW THEY WOULD HAVE MADE SOME KIND OF DECISSION. TO MAKE IT RIGHT OR TELL US TO EAT IT. GARY |

Gary, I talked to Don on Monday and asked him what Borla was going to do about replacing our exhaust with the correct one. He said that he had checked with "management" and there was nothing they could do at this time. (Not sure what he meant by that). He said that I could return the system and he gave me a return authorization number to include with the return. When they received it they would credit/refund the purchase price. Nothing else he could do. I am returning it.. |

Same here...talked with Don and will be returning my system also.....now waiting for box to be picked-up. Oh well! We took a shot. Next exhaust system will be a custom. ------------------ |

BORLA TRIED TO CALL ME TODAY BUT I WASN`T HOME FOR THEM. AND THEY DIDN`T LEAVE A MESSAGE. I`M FILING A FRAUD COMPLAINT WITH E-BAY. AS FAR AS I`M CONCERNED THEY MISLED ALL OF US ON WHAT THE ITEM WAS. THEY DIDN`T ANSWER ANY OF THE E-MAILS WE SENT. THEY DIDN`T SEEM TO EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY HAD. I HAVE TO WAIT 30 DAYS FROM END OF AUCTION. IF I TALK TO THEM ALL I`M INTERESTED IN IS GETTING WHAT I BID ON. I MAY BE --SSING IN THE WIND, BUT IT WON`T BE THE FIRST TIME.I`LL KEEP A POST IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. GARY |

On eBay you need to file a complaint within 30 days or 60 days, I can't remember which. They are insured by Lloyds of London and there might be $ 100 deductible. I collected once after getting ripped off. It has been over a year ago and I don't remember all of the details, unfortunately. |

THAT IS CORRECT YOU HAVE TO FILE AFTER 30 DAYS AND BEFORE 60 DAYS. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO DO THIS ON E-BAY IN OVER THE 2 YEARS I`VE BOUGHT AND SOLD THERE. SO THIS IS NEW TO ME ALSO. AND IT MAY BE WORTH IT TO HAVE OUR ATTORNEY SEND THEM A LOVE LETTER. ITS ALL WORTH A TRY BECAUSE WHAT THEY DID ISN`T RIGHT. AND THEY SHOULDN`T GET BY WITH JUST SAYING RETURN IT IF YOU DON`T LIKE IT. I REALIZE 280.00 ISN`T THE WORLD COMMING TO AN END. I JUST FEEL A NEED TO ROCK THE BOAT THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT. GARY |

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK DAN (RBADKAT) FOR HELPING US E-BAY SUCKERS TRY AND GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF BY BORLA. ALL OF US WHO PURCHASED THE SYSTEM ON E-BAY NEED TO SPEAK UP AND SAY WHAT WE THINK OF THERE DEAL. AND THAT THEY NEED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. DAN IS ALMOST THERE NEIGHBOR AND HE IS TAKING IT TO THERE DOOR.ON ALL OUR BEHALF. BEING THIS IS A CARLINIE SYS. IT SURE WON`T FIT RIGHT ON THE STOCK PROWLER. I also spoke to Don and he said there was nothing he could do but give me a return label. I haven't received it yet, but went to Midas and Mieneke to see if they would make pipes from the exhaust back. Mieneke said they would make in stainless for $175.00. Thought I might just replace the stock muffler with the Borla muffler...looks like it is a direct bolt on. Biggest problem if I do it myself is getting the nipple hangers out of the rubber grommets. Anybody out there have a easy solution for pulling hanger out of grommet? Rex ------------------ |
