Where can the front end of a cat be safely strapped without using tire harnesses. I am using an open trailer and don't really want harness straps draped over my front tires. No problem with where to strap the rear but need help with the front!!! |

On my trailer I use tie down straps over the front tires, takes about 4 minutes to strap and load the cats that I have towed over 8000 miles. Just make sure you tie down your car with the car in neutral with E brake on and when all done put your car in gear with E brake on. To unload make sure the car is back in neutral with E brake on. DO NOT want to put a load on the tranny. ------------------ GaryC@ProwlerOnline.com Diesel Ram Truck: 460.7 HP/ 907.2 Ft Lbs of Torque 14.17 ET 97.07 MPH |

Thanks guys for the help. Just got home from the trailer dealer with the cat tied down tight. The drawings were a great help. We were looking for a place closer to the front end than the locations shown in the drawings. By the way it looks great also. I was able to find chrome wheels for the trailer that come very close to matching the wheels on my new Ford F150 Harley Davidson Truck. Black truck, black trailer, silver cat. Looks like the cats meow. |
