I GOT MY BORLA SYSTEM FROM THE E-BAY AUCTION. YUP ITS AN
EXHAUST SYSTEM. I LIKE THE NICE STRAIGHT THROUGH MUFFLER.
ITS SIMPLE ONCE I GET MY 34 OFF THE RACK I`LL PUT IT ON.
THE TIPS ARE VERY NICE BUT CHROME PLATED STEEL. THEY ARE OVAL SHAPED LIKE SAMPSON MUFFLERS FOR THE HARLEY.THE SYSTEM
CAME WITH ALL THE CLAMPS, AND THE HANGERS ARE ATTACHED TO THE PIPES LIKE FACTORY. IT LOOKS LIKE A TOTAL BOLT ON SYSTEM
NO WELDING. SO THE PEOPLE THAT WHERE AFRAID TO BID BECAUSE
THEY WANTED THE HIGH DOLLAR TIPS WILL BE GLAD TO KNOW THEY
DIDN`T COME WITH THE PACKAGE. TOTAL COST WITH SHIPPING WAS
312.90 TO DENVER GARY

Think most people were unhappy with lack of response they got when asking questions.

Glad you are happy with what you got. Borla makes some good stuff.

Haven't seen the commercial yet. The man does have a gun. I have seen a commercial with him and Elway. He needs to work on acting for all the endorsements he could get. Looks a little stiff.

Got my Borla's today. Seems like it was a really good deal, even if the communication from them was bad. They even threw in a Borla baseball cap and decal. Don't like the oval, rolled end tips much, so have ordered tips from MEG's. Other than the tips, looks exactly like the $800 set.

The nightmare begins....received MY system today....missing parts, no view to determine what pipe is right or left...don't like the tips...seems that this is the Carlini system designed to use with their rear pan.....waiting for Borla to call me back.

I THINK YOUR RIGHT IT LOOKS LIKE THE CARLINI SYSTEM. EVEN THE TIPS. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS AN OVERRUN FOR ANOTHER COMPANY.ALSO THE TAIL PIPES DO LOOK LIKE THEY COME OUT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROLLED PAN LIKE CARLINI`S. I WOULD BET THEY
WHERE FOR CARLINI. I RUN A TGF ROLLED PAN AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO FIT. I ALREADY HAVE A SET OF MEGS ROUND SLASH CUTS
WITH THE ROLLED TIP. THEY LOOK LIKE THERE MADE TO GO WITH
THE TGF PAN. SO ANYWAY I HAVE A BORLA MUFFLER TO INSTALL.
I HOPE THAT MAKES ME HAPPY. LET ME KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE TAIL PIPES NOT FITTING, WHAT THERE AD CLAIMED.
I HAVEN`T HAD MY CALLS OR E-MAIL RETURNED. HOPE SOME ELSE HAS BETTER LUCK.

I am highly suspicious of this company that did the Ebay exhaust auction. What's up with not returning asked questions and now it turns out that the system was for a Carlini roll pan??? I am so glad I bailed out on this auction.

The saga continues.... got hold of a Don Cozza
805-986-8600 x217 or 877-GO-BORLA (462-6752)today at Borla....I have been the only one to complain about the ebay unit. He is looking at the posibility that there may not be a way to mount the tailpipes included in the "system".....in addition he believes that the muffler is shorter than the stock and that also means that the original tailpipes will not work either....He stated that if I was not satisfied I could get a refund. Anyone that "won" an ebay system should try a dry fit ASAP and complain if not completely happy. He said he would have the "real" answers tomorrow......the beat goes on.....

KarolinaKat: I JUST LEFT A MESSAGE ON DONS MACHINE ALSO
COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SYSTEM AND WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS FOR. I MENTIONED THE AD STATED IT WAS FOR A 99-2000 AND
ALL I WANT IS THE SYSTEM THEY THAT FITS. I WILL SEE IF HE
RETURNS MY CALL. IF EVERYONE COMPLAINED MAYBE WE CAN GET THEM TO GIVE US ALL THE RIGHT SYSTEM.NEVER HURTS TO BE A LITTLE BULL HEADED. I SELL ALOT ON E-BAY AND I THINK THEY ARE OPLIGATED TO BE SELLING WHAT THEY ADVERTISED. NOW AND THEN I MAKE A MISTAKE ON MY AD AND I EAT THE COST. LETS SEE IF THEY FEEL GUILTY AND MAKE IT RIGHT. GARY

Kar Kat, With due respect, I don't care who did the auction. They would not answer my email questions, when I called they very very vague and then one guy says "We only carry the carbon fiber tips" When I called the next day the guy says "the tips are SS". I hope you get it worked out but as I said, I'm happy not having their system.

I thought I was one of the lucky one to have gottedn the ebay borla exhaust. It appears that the system dose not fit.
I would have to agree, we need to make Borla step up to the plate and give us a system that fits.
I will be driving to there facilites tomorrow to show them what they gave me and how it won't work. I will be seeing Don, he is the one that I picked them up from, I live close by.
He is the one, when I met him, said it was "idenitical to the new borla version except for the Tips" .
That being the case I expect for him to honor his commitment and warranty and to stand behind his word and his company's product.
I will keep you all infomed of the outcome and will advise him that there are some KAT owners that are not happy and he needs to make 8 kat owners happy.
Till later.....

OK....There now are 3 of the "winners" that have complained. Don C of Borla said they will try and take care of all 8 at the same time. We will see. It appears that you can get more flys with honey and a gun then with a gun alone. They really seem concerned about keeping us happy. Let's see what they come up with......more to follow.
