This morning the Cincinnati Firefighters set up a "Fill the boot" at numerous intersections during morning rush hour traffic. They are still counting the coins (there are numerous 5 gallon buckets full of coins) but they feel sure it is near $ 150,000 to benefit the NY Firefighters. This was collected in a 2 hour period this morning. The firefighters were overwhelmed. Traffic was a mess since almost every car stopped to contribute. |

In the Atlanta Paper the Political Cartoonist did a cartoon of the fire fighters and a policeman still on the job. They had reached the pearly gates and had halos over their helmets and cap. The lead fireman exclaiming "hey we reached the top". Very moving. God Bless America ------------------
